FrameReader 1.0 was the first version of the FrameReader / FrameViewer read-only applications for viewing FrameMaker documents.

Product history

FrameReader was released by Frame Technology for Windows in 1992 and 24 Unix platforms by 1993. It could navigate hyperlinks in documents as an early competitor to Adobe Acrobat.[1][2][3]
